HelloGoodbye : Vans Warped Tour 06

Tell me what life has been like for the last year in the last year.

Forest: Touring, almost all of last year.
Touring is fun, but we all want to go home very much, I think the band has done more than any of us ever expected to at all.

Why,

Jessie: We didn't have high expectations for it, we didn't plan on it.
We didn't expect to be on a record label like drive thru, or going out on good tours. We were having fun being in a band, and playing shows where we lived, now were doing it a lot, all the time.

Forest:   When you're gone for 10 months out of the past 12, it sort of gets tiring. You just want to go home to your family and friends. I don't even feel
like MY dog is mine anymore.

What have been the best and worst of Warped?

Jessie: Arrival of early November; I've legitimately gone the longest time in my life without showering daily

Marcus: When we don't play till after 4 in the afternoon;
Playing at 11, and then going to press and signings right away.

Chris: When my girlfriend came out;  When she left.

Forest:  Winning Bacchi ball; Losing Bacchi ball.

If you were a farm animal, what type would you be?

Chris: Horse!  He can run, and jump stuff.

Jessie: I'd be a dirt bike! Or Milo the little house kitten.

Marcus: I would be a herding dog. I'd get to sleep in the house and be treated better. Plus I wouldn't be eaten.

Forest: I'd be Otis, keeping Milo out of trouble.

If you had a platform, what would it be?

Marcus: Tear down blocked myspaces, most people are over the age of 14, but they have little cliques of all of their friends who are also blocked..

Chris: It's like if my boy here meets a girl, I want to check her out, find out if she's an a+ or f+.

So how are you going to make this happen?

Everyone: Were going to make signs and walk around. Or make our own Myspace that's private. What if we had one?

Thank You to Hellogoodbye for the interview time!
